Started working with CAE analysis and simulation tools in 1988: using Algor on PCs, and ANSYS on an enterprise server. Had several courses on the theory, mathematics, and programming for such techniques. Performed per-sale demonstrations and post-sale training for clients using various software. Over the years, had projects using several other FEA, FDA, and SPH software to analyse solid, fluid, heat, and electromagnetic problems:

Started piping systems design, using Autocad and Autopipe, in 1991, and later used CADDS, Autoplant, and Microstation for plant design. I designed complex piping systems for clients like ABB and Caltex; including Power Plant design, Oil Storage and Processing, Water Treatment plant, Steam lines, and Oil Pipelines. This included P&I Diagrams, 3D piping layouts, piping racks and supports, and Isometrics for workshop pre-fabrication.

My main expertise is Piping Stress Analysis, in compliance with standard codes such as ASME B31.x, and using CAESAR II stress analysis software. A deep knowledge of solid mechanics enables me to perform calculations and designs that are more efficient than code specifications.
